About Us
Green Dog Oasis, Inc. started on the steps of Tony Davila's small apartment when his two sons brought home two stray dogs. Tony, who served his country as an Infantry Marine during the Gulf War in Somalia and then served again in the Army in late 1990s, wasn't sure how he could help the dogs, but it turned out the dogs helped and saved him from the darkness he was in. That's when Tony found his life’s passion and purpose of helping others to live a better life while training dogs. He organized and started Green Dog Oasis, Inc. a 501(c) 3
non-profit organization in May 2020. Green Dog Oasis will rescue dogs that are in danger of being euthanized in shelters and recycle them back to their Oasis, to become loving therapy dogs for veterans and all suffering from PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other illnesses, while teaching and promoting the importance of spaying and neutering dogs to prevent overpopulation. The Dogs that come to GDO will live at GDO forever until they are adopted by a loving, caring person or family that needs that special, unconditional love that only a dog can give.
